Season Tickets are available on-line and through local tackle dealers Fishermania Derby and Burton, Nathan's Premier Angling Centre and Angling Direct. We do not have a joining fee for new members and we pride ourselves of offering 'affordable fishing for all'. Please adhere to the rules below and read your season ticket. You run the risk of losing your ticket if the rules are broken.

River Derwent & Still Waters
The highest possible standard of behaviour will be expected from all. Anyone breaking the rules faces expulsion and fees will not be refunded.

River Derwent & Still Waters
The highest possible standard of behaviour will be expected from all. Anyone breaking the rules faces expulsion and fees will not be refunded.
- All anglers must be in possession of a valid EA rod licence.
- RIVER SECTIONS - 2 rods allowed. Night Fishing allowed. No fishing from boats, inflatables, canoes. No tents. No fires/barbecues. No guns/catapults.
- No fishing from top of the weirs.
- Chub Alley - One Rod Allowed. No fishing after midnight. No bivvies
- Markeaton Brook - Fishing only within the boundary of Markeaton Park. River Dates Close Season applies- no night fishing.
- NO fish to be removed from any Club Waters including game fish.
- Live Baiting is strictly ONLY allowed on the river and is restricted to Minnows which have been caught in our river.
- Sunrise – 8pm or Sunset if later ONLY on still waters on a Season Ticket.
- Maximum of 3 rods on Markeaton, Allestree, Alvaston, Heatherton.(Please ensure you have appropriate licences)
- Maximum of 2 rods on Woodrows, Farnah and Mill Dam.
- Heatherton Pond - fishing from designated pegs only. STRICTLY NO FISHING AT INLET. Heatherton is CARP FISHING ONLY and Carp/Specimen Rules Apply. Do not park in front of the car park gates.
- Woodrow’s Pond - Season Tickets Only - 2 rods max - fishing from designated pegs only. Pegs 3,8 and 10 are designated disabled access pegs and if disabled anglers need to fish them, please be considerate. Access gates to be closed and locked on entry/exit, otter fence gates at Woodrow’s to be kept closed. No driving round the outside of the fence, this is not club land. Max Speed 10MPH.
- Farnah - Season Tickets Only. No Bivvies. Access around the lake must not be restricted at any time. Strictly no dogs due to livestock.
- Always ensure your nets, mats and slings are bone dry before commencing your session, this helps any bacteria to die off.
- All anglers must have their own unhooking mat and net on ALL stills, no sharing of mats/nets.
- STRICTLY NO LITTER – all litter and unused bait to be removed and taken home, this includes cigarette ends. Any member found leaving litter will be expelled and fees will not be refunded.
- Bivvies/brollies only – NO Tents.
- No camping, only anglers to be on a still water after dusk are premium members/paying guests or night permit holders.
- No swimming or wading. No inflatable boats.
- We do allow a dog onto our fisheries, however they must be kept on a lead at all times, you must clean up after them and they must not be noisy. NO dogs at Farnah due to livestock.
- No fires – No barbecues of any description.
- No drugs – alcohol in moderation.
- Rods must NOT be left unattended in the water.
- Barbless hooks preferred
- No permanently fixed leads or fixed bolt rigs. All leads must be able to break free should a fish become snagged
- No braided mainline - braid for spod/marker rods only.
- Unhooking mat required for all stillwaters.
- No retaining of fish in sacks or slings.
- Photographing/fish care, all carp must be photographed over a cradle/unhooking mat . Fish should not be lifted above knee height , All fish to be returned ASAP after weighing and photographing.
- Persons fishing all of The Earl of Harrington’s AC waters do so at their own risk. The Club cannot be held responsible for any accident/injury to anglers or their possessions however caused, whilst on the premises.
