Heatherton Pond

SEASON TICKETS ONLY FOR 21/22 SEASON - NO DAY TICKETS.

Heatherton Pond was formed around 1998 as a balancing feature as part of the Sustainable Urban Drainage System (SUDS) associated with the nearby Heatherton housing development situated on the opposite side of Moorway Lane.
It is fed from a storm overload from Pastures Hill via an inflow into the south west corner of the pond and an outflow in the south-east corner returns water to the Hell Brook which runs along the southern boundary of the site. The pond is a specimen Carp Water and Carp Rules Apply.
We continue to work with Derby City Council to improve the lake and will be introducing further habitat and planting alongside a fishery management programme.

PARKING
Moorway Lane, Littleover, DE23 3YJ.  Season Ticket Holders please park in the car park by the pond (key needed).
PLEASE DO NOT PARK AT THE ENTRANCE TO HALL PASTURES FARM OR ANYWHERE ALONG THE OWNERS DRIVE NOR DROP OFF YOUR GEAR ALONG THE DRIVE - IT IS A WORKING FARM AND ACCESS IS REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES
