Farnah Lake (Season Ticket Only)

Farnah Lake is situated off  Wirksworth Road, Near Duffield, Derby DE56 4AQ.

The Earl took the lake on in 2017 in a shocking state of disrepair.  Marginal trees overgrown and encroaching across the 'pegs', banks severely eroded and undercut and a lack of marginal habitat.  We are restoring this stunning lake into what we believe it should be.  Our vision is to create an authentic 'Estate Lake' with extensive marginal reeds and mature lily beds and with a good head of estate lake fish - Tench and pure Crucian Carp.  We are improving the fishing pegs and the marginal habitat and this will be our main emphasis, to ensure the lake is healthy and sustainable.

PARK IN LARGE LAY BY ON THE MAIN WIRKSWORTH ROAD (ON THE RHS AFTER YOU PASS CROOTS FARM SHOP WHICH IS SIGNPOSTED ON THE LEFT), COMING FROM DUFFIELD. EARL SIGN ON THE GATE OPPOSITE THE LAY BY.
